2 Month Six Pack Experiment Results

It’s been 2 full months since I started the six pack experiment, 2 full months with MyBodyTutor, and I’ve gotta say: I’M LOVING IT!

I’ve encountered every excuse to eat horribly like travelling, being extremely busy, going back home, going to parties, drinking alcohol, not having healthy food in the house, being at unhealthy restaurants….all these problems in the past used to hold me back from achieving any real results.

Now I’m breezing through them like nothing.

The first month was the real test, the 2nd month was a lot easier…mainly just making sure I don’t slip back into old habits, and I’m going on a third month now.  After doing this for a solid 90 days, I’m pretty sure eating healthier will be a lifelong habit.

I DID NOT go on a diet.
I DID NOT starve myself.
I DID NOT try some fad.
I simply stayed CONSISTENT with eating “good stuff” rather than “bad stuff.”

Enough rambling, here’s some pictures I took this morning:

Full disclosure:
It’s absolutely impossible to take shirtless/flexed pictures of yourself in the mirror and NOT look like a douchebag.

To continue the douchebaggery, I have included a video (you might even notice the before & after haircut)!  The 1st part of the clip was taken in the morning, the 2nd part was taken immediately after a big dinner).

I think you can pretty clearly see the 6-pack making an appearance:

So I’d say eating this way has definitely changed the way I look.  I once again thank Adam for helping me on this, and will continue this experiment for another month.

It’s unbelievable what these small changes in my diet have accomplished so quickly!

Here’s also an audio you can listen to (I often record these audios then turn them into a post):

Woah! Damn Nev, you’re not playing around! You look incredible! You’re freaking shredded man! Nice going (and nice haircut)!

      Keep up the great work.

        Thanks Brian!

It’s nice to hear from someone else, as I see myself everyday, so the results don’t look as dramatic from my eyes.

        Glad its working :-)

        Michael,

It was just the small step of eating well one day….
…then doing it the next day…
        …and the next day…

…and keeping up that consistency till it becomes a habit!

Well, first off, let me say that I visit this blog ALL the time and have never commented. I’ve been reading since early may. I even went through all your old stuff in like one weekend. Yo… I LOVE this effin’ blog!!

Now that the slurp session is done, let me say congrats. I had to go back and look at your pics from early april to see the difference. But the video showed the pack waaay better. wow. Shit was lookin’ solid! I TRIED and I TRIED to get on board with you, but I can’t find the discipline. I LOVE all that food you ate, but I LOVE unhealthy food just as much(maybe even more). PLus, I’m MUCH heavier than you. One of these days, when I get pissed off enough, I’ll do something.
Anyway, enough about me, congrats again Nev!
End of Jun is gonna be ridiculous.

        Therm,

First of all thanks for the compliments, good to know you enjoy the blog :-)

Second, it took me a while to eat this well also. It’s not like I changed overnight. I would eat healthy for 3 days, then ruin it by going nuts on the weekend….this actually HELPED me see the vast difference between eating bad and good.

I like what you said at the end of your comment, “One of these days, when I get pissed off enough, I’ll do something.”

….very true! At SOME point you’ll see the clear benefits and decide to stick to a plan. It’s only difficult for a few days!

Maybe you should try the Seinfeld Calendar method!

Nev, I was just wondering about the whole baseball field thing that someone else was commenting about in another post. Looks like you are in big trouble. I understand if you don’t want to talk about it for legal reasons or whatever… are you going to talk about it eventually though? You could probably tell us that much at least :)

Lol!! I took my finance to see the University of Michigan’s Football field last August, but since they were doing repairs -no one- would let us near it! We were trying every which way. It’s like, seriously, just let us make some memories. I feel you on getting busted here! Hopefully they let you in take pics after the arrest!

Yea, I’m NOT starving or doing some quick-crash-diet to lose the weight…it’s simple lifestyle changes such as eating better…that’s it!
