why are your unique vistors so different on your server and your google analytics?

I remembered my mileage, and I remembered how many train trips I took by approximation of how many times I went to San Carlos and SanFran…so THERE!

Google only tracks a hit when the analytics code snippet registers on my blogger template. The server stats count EVERYTHING, including other pages on my site with no Google Analytics. This is important for tracking things like my blog XML feed which is hit hundreds of thousands of times in a year, but is not counted by Google Analytics.
How about what you made in 2009? :)
