I have read both Felix Dennis "How To Get Rich" and Napolean Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" several times and they are definitely on my list of Favorite Books as well.

Another book that you may like is:

The One Minute Millionaire by Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen- This book is a perfect blend of Step by Step instructions on one side of the book and a fictional story that teaches the step by step instructions through the story. They wrote it like this so that those who learn better through stories could read the fictional story first and then follow the instructions next or the other way around for those who like to learn by being told exactly step by step what they need to do.

Another reason I liked this book is that the main character in the fictional story has to make a $1 Million Dollars within a short amount of time to save her kids, which poses the question if you had to make $1 million in 90 days to save a loved ones life you could probably find a way to do it if you really put your mind to it so if you can do it under those circumstances then you can do it under normal conditions as well as long as you are willing to TAKE ACTION. Love the site I am glad I found it.

[...] easiest example I can give of a super-simple affiliate marketing experiment is my books reviews page. If you click one of those book links and buy from Amazon, I get a small portion of the sale. [...]

When I saw the post title on my reader, I came here to post "How to Get Rich" and saw it was your #1! What a great book, also on my very short list of books I've read twice.

And I recently got the chance to apply one of his lessons / rules. I hired an employee who was to be paid in part a percentage of profits. I made sure that it was just a contractual right and not any equity. =)

I'd be interested in to hear what magazines you subscribe to, if any. I read Fast Company and Inc. Any other good ones you recommend?

I don't really classify any of these as self-help since they're so beyond that categorization.

Plus:
People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well neither does bathing. That's why we recommend it daily.
--Zig Ziglar

The only one I've read was think and grow rich. I love that book. I bought a couple and passed them out to others.

For the most part, I'm done with self-help books. I was done a couple of years ago, now it is all about putting everything I've learned to action.
