Handwriting Blogs

18 Dec

Boring hyperlink to the post.

It took me three sheets of paper, a scanner and Photoshop to make this post, that might be one reason it isn’t a popular format:

….However when tablets (with both multi-touch and pen inputs) become more popular, this style of blogging shouldn’t be difficult at all….and with tags you can make the whole thing search engine friendly too

I like this style of blogging for many reasons…plus it’s just fun!

:)) you are lucky, you have a nice handwrite, if I should pot my own hand write on my blog posts I'm pretty sure that I would reduce the number of viewers to 0 :))

      That was huge font!

I think old fashioned writing is still a better way to project ideas at first. The drawings are also a big benefit… nice touch.

Ack! I was hoping that handwriting would fade out of existence. Typing is so much faster and easier to read in my humble opinion :)

I have a friend who has been doing this for a long time: http://uplink.tadge.net/archives/2006_02.html

If I had to post my handwriting, it would be horrible! I get enough flack from nurses who cant read my notes and with the limited time I have, going through the process, even with a tablet PC would be too consuming. Its certainly a neat idea and your post did stand out!

This looks so cool as it adds twist from the past and the present time as this handwritten thoughts can appear like from the "childhood days" and yet having the hyperlinks can still portray the present time. Also, a simple touch of sharing thoughts plus the effort of writing stays memorably interesting for every reader so it does can add more readers to check the drawings out.

The main reason why people wouldn’t blog like this is because it sucks big time from a SEO perspective.

Should a company ever come up with an ability to “read” & categorise all the images on the web with a user interface like Google then they’d make a killing. However the feasibility of this is sadly still a long way off, but one day….

Another big reason why people don’t blog with images is because of the extra strain on the servers. btw, you could have just combined your hyperlink with your image by making the image clickable.

I can’t wait to see your examples of how your handwriting has evolved! I am obsessed with the different forms that hand writing takes. I love collecting old postcards just to see the writing.

That an interesting post. I never thought about this before. But, looking back at different situations, this might be right. Keep it up friend!
