Interview with good info about validating a business BEFORE building

You need to VALIDATE ideas before building them.

I’ve learned that the hard way.

If you FIRST validate, the real world will tell you if your idea sucks, or is worthy.

Here’s how to do it……here’s an interview with William Griggs of TheStartupSlingShot about how to do this:

(I hate the title of the interview….but it’s good content)!

This video didn’t get enough love! Very nice! I’m trying to validate my idea by using Yahoo Groups, Facebook Groups and so on.. What are some good techniques to get peoples attention. Are you honest and say hey I’m starting this site would you be interested? Or are you more passive with your approach “hey found this site looks interesting, any one ever use it…” Ideas?

    Thanks!

GOOD! More information for you, less for your competition ;-)

Be direct with them…..be honest….say you’ve got amazing tips (and maybe give them one right off the bat), and you wanna see if people are interested to learn XYZ.
