Spring….Break?
15 Mar
As I’ve mentioned before, I hate being idle. I am in Houston for Spring “Break” and like I planned it has been a great mixture of business and fun.
The business side is in the form of helping to market condos and several web designing projects on the side. I am also doing some accounting for my online business in the meantime.
I also finally got a chance to see the Lamborghini Gallardo of a family friend today.

I look a bit goofy in this picture, but I am revving up a brand new Lamborghini and I could care less!

I also took a visit to our local Honda dealship one beautiful day to check out the motorcycles:

Your friend has a freakin’ Lamborghini??
oh come now, dont we all have a family friend that has a $166K supercar?? lol
*drool*
any chance of you riding in the Gallardo? or even driving??
very nice looking car!
Riding in the Lambo? Definitely.
Driving the Lambo? That’s a maybe, although I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope I get to!
It’s not everyday that you drive a car which can obliterate any North American speed limit…and still have 4 gears left to go!
You want something that will smoke that Lambo, for about 13K you can have a brand new Busa or BKing. Lamborghinis whimper when I pull up next to them, like Beta dogs. LOL.

If you could care less you would. What you really meant to say was that you couldn’t care less. I would be happy to edit your site for a small monthly fee. Another monthly income stream!!!
The Lamborgini is an example of where we want to get… But only after we finish ALL of those pesky savings and investing goals we have ;)
Money and Investing
True, whether its a super car, boat, or the custom house w/pool, the person who stays wealthy the longest saves and saves and saves, then spends carefully. I still shop at thrift stores (in wealthy neighborhoods!).

harlow nev… this is my first time reading your blog and i really enjoy it. Hope i can be in contact with you as my friend said that we share lots of similar interests… see ya. like the lamborghini too man!
damn, that does look nice… I’m no longer dreaming about cars like that.. Instead I’m looking forward to the new 2009 GT-R. As powerful but yet affordable.
when i make it, i am going to have a myriad of the latest supercars. I hope really soon since i am getting weary of all this delayed gratification that i have taken on lately
Awesome advert for the Gallardo on You Tube dude drives past chick and gets there phone numbers on the way…
I think im a long way from affording it, maybee a test drive if i can get through the door in my web designer cut jeans and curry stained t-shirt lol
Better yet, I have a friend that sells exotic cars. I have driven Lamos, Ferraris, etc! haha. Great when you don’t need to pay or maintain them.
How much does it cost to insure a Lamborgini each month? Do you know?
I’m an insurance broker and I can tell you an approximation. It really depends on a lot of things, but roughly around $200-$500 a month. It depends mostly on your insurance company, your age, and your driving history. Obviously you aren’t going to get a good deal on Lamborghini insurance if you are a 19 year old ballplayer with a lengthy driving record.
